The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Region Skåne started its five First Line clinics for the age group 6 to 17 years in 2013. These clinics work preventively and have a First Line mission. This means assessing and treating mental health issues of mild to moderate severity in children and adolescents, as well as offering a prompt initial assessment.

At our clinic in Lund, we currently have social workers, psychologists, a medical secretary, and a unit manager. We also have access to doctors for consultations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a social worker to join us at First Line in Lund! With us, you will have the opportunity to work with varied tasks and make a difference for children and young people.

In the role of social worker, you will primarily work with the assessment and treatment of mental health issues in children and adolescents, as well as provide information about social legislation, services, and resources.

At the clinic, we offer group treatments, digital treatments, individual counseling, parental support, and family conversations, which means you as a social worker will have the opportunity for good variation in your work. We provide shorter treatment interventions based on a family therapy and/or CBT perspective, where the individual, the immediate family, and other networks are involved based on the child's treatment needs. In addition to the immediate treatment work, you will participate in team conferences and collaborate with our care neighbors.

We offer you a good introduction and supervision to help you integrate into your professional role in the best possible way.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed a degree in social work with good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have basic training in family therapy or CBT, corresponding to level 1, and that you are a licensed health and medical care social worker with experience in treatment work with children, adolescents, and their families. We would also like you to have experience in group treatment.

You are confident in your professional role, used to taking responsibility and working methodically. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate, possess a flexible working style, and enjoy working independently. Additionally, we would like you to feel comfortable working as part of a team and to engage in development work together with others in the organization. When filling the position, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
